When Facebook deprecated their v. 1 API on April 30th, 2015, this app was rendered useless. Facebook no longer allows developers to sync users’ data within their applications such as that which this app relies. The developer should have put some kind of warning about this pending update in the product description.

When I connect to Facebook my friends are not there. Waste of money

I bought this for the Facebook sync and now its only available on the new version. Big thumbs down.

The developer charged money for this app and then he completely ditched it and made a slightly different 2015 version to make a quick buck. In efforts to increase his profits, in the latest update, he has axed one of the selling features of this app in efforts to force you to purchase the 2015 version. Seems money is the only thing that matters nowadays to some developers.

I didnt know that facebook sync feature was a big Bug! Thanks for removing this feature. You can remove every other remaining in-app features, But I assure you, I wont buy contactsXL 2015.!

The creator starts removing functionality in order to force you to upgrade for a fee. Time to find a new app.

Why remove Facebook syncing?

They removed features from an old version and made me buy this new app just to get facebook sync. It doesnt work and the developer confirmed on Twitter. Get away from here, you cant trust him

So quick question, if I choose to pay for the upgrade (like I did the original app) to get back the features that have been slowly taken away, how many updates until I have to pay to get them back again?

Updated- The author has chosen to take away functions in the the app to force users to upgrade to a new one. Bad form! I found another app. Old review - I use this app all day, everyday. The Smart Groups work great. Could not do without this app. Keep up the good work.

Slowly removed everything even after I purchased the upgrade. I thought I was the only one until I read the other reviews. Needless to say, I deleted the app.

Youre now on my blacklist: developers to avoid under ALL circumstances! Even giving this away for free wont cure your ratings problem, honey. Ya get what ya give.

I used to like this app. Then when I noticed my functions were gone I came here and found out why. What a cheap trick. Taking away functions Id previously made a decision to buy. Dont bother. The apple standard app is just as good.

This is a great app, but why do I have to pay again for the new version 2015 instead of having an update for the one I already paid for????

Thats it - Ive had it w/ this app and its customer service, which is non-existent. This used to be my only contact app. I am now looking elsewhere. Ive tried to contact support a couple of times w/ no replies. Ive had so many problems w/ this app since the update.

I was using the app the old version and was satisfied was sending messages to groups of my clients now when I switch to send a message every contact name appears in duplicate, so if I send a message each client will get it twice. I have read the reviews of the persons who have upgraded they arnt satisfied at all, so I wont. I am going to delete this app and find a new one. Rediculus

Stripped away usefulness with each update to force new purchase. Deleted and looking elsewhere.
